One of the first acts of Bristol’s recently elected mayor, George Ferguson (whose best known foible is his sartorial predilection for red trousers), was to rename the Council House (aka Counts Louse to Bristolians. Ed.), transforming it into City Hall.
A local wag has now amended the new sign outside the Counts Louse to reflect the change of regime.
